Dear Judo Matsu Community,
I hope you are all well and excited about returning to some normality.
I wanted to reach out and let you know my plans about the Club’s reopening so everyone can plan accordingly.
As mentioned in my previous email, I will not be opening the Club and resuming normal classes until I can open up completely, without any restrictions – this is slated for 1 December. However, as this date coincides so closely to the end of school term and the holiday shut-down period, I have decided to keep the Club closed until the new year – I will announce the formal opening date and timetable from mid-January in due course.
I’m sure many of you will have plans for a break/holiday and to see loved ones you may not have had the chance to see over the past few months. For me personally, my sister will be giving birth to our families first grandchild (I’ll be an Uncle!) at the end of November, so I would like to have the flexibility to go to Canberra and spend time with family at this time.
I appreciate some of you are eager to start training again and dust off your gi’s. For that reason, I’d love to see you and will open the Club doors on an informal basis throughout December for some relaxed adult Judo classes. I will share potential dates/times closer to this time. These informal classes will be free of charge – I hope to see you there!
Reminder, I will only restart everyone’s memberships fees in January 2022 once we return back to formal classes.
Thank you for your continued support and membership – I look forward to seeing you all soon.
Yours in Judo,
Head Coach | Judo Matsu
